Below are some of the most common questions that we are asked and our best attempt to answer them in a general fashion.  If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to give us a call or come by the shop.

How long does the typical dent repair take?

The average dent repair takes only 1-3 hours.  The full range is 15 minutes to 8 hours for the easiest ding up to the hardest single dent.  When we repair hail damaged vehicles it can take 1-5 days depending on the severity.

What kind of repairs can be done with paintless dent repair?

All sorts of dents, dings, creases, waves and high spots can be repaired.  See our gallery page for some examples of what can be done.

What is the average cost of a dent repair?

The typical ding or dent repair runs $150-$300.  All PDR jobs are bid on a case by case basis.  Text us pictures of your ding or dent at 253-201-5949 to receive a free quote.  There are some times that there is no way to bid the job without seeing it in person, but most of the time with good pictures we can give you an accurate firm bid from photos.

Do you offer mobile dent repair service?

Yes, we perform repairs at our shop or we can come to you at your home or place of business to perform a mobile dent repair.

Do I have to wash my car before I come in?

Ideally you would come in with a clean car so we can properly analyze the dent with you.  Also, we require a reflection to perform the repair so we will clean a localized area to perform the work and it may look a little funny to have only one clean area on your car.  It is not required for you to come in with a clean car so please don’t feel like you have to.  Additionally we do offer car washes at our shop if that is something that you wanted us to handle for you.

Is there anything that I should not do?

It is not recommended to make any repair attempts yourself or have the guy in a parking lot attempt any repairs unless you fully intend on completing the repair that way.  Pushing on the dent with anything can easily make irreparable high spots within the dent or even fracture the paint.  There is a specific method to cleanly bringing up all of the metal of a dent and if the repair is started the wrong way it can render the dent irreparable by paintless dent repair.

Is there a chance that the dent will come back or “pop back in”?

When we perform a dent repair we meticulously reshape the metal with hundreds of tiny pushes restoring the panel to its original shape and strength.  There is no way for the dent to return.  There is one exception to this rule and that is a dented panel that has been stretched too far when it was initially damaged.  Metal that has been stretched too far will not be able to lay flat again without being shrunk.  It will end up looking like a high or low spot similar to the vacuum indicator bubble on Snapple Caps.  When dents come in damaged to the point where the metal is too stretched to properly repair them permanently, we let the customer know in advance of the repair and our recommendation is usually to not go through with a paintless dent repair.

Can I wash or detail my car right after the dent removal?

Absolutely!  The dent repair is permanent and once the metal is re-shaped it will remain that way indefinitely.  There is no curing times or waiting periods before you can resume normal use of the vehicle.

What payment methods do you accept?
